A Spirit Filled Church
Outreach driven churches are filled with people who:
1. Have joined with God in the adventure of a Spirit filled/empowered life
2. Have a genuine God given passion for those who do not know Jesus
3.Know how to receive the Holy Spirit and why

An Outreach Driven Church
Churches are motivated by many things: tradition aka. the sacred cow complex, finances, facilities, events, the leaderships' personality....
But in order for a church to truly be Outreach driven, they need to;
1. Move from a consumer mindset to a producer
1.a. We are all ministers. We are all participants. We are all servants
2. Build relationships with the unchurched people to show them the way to Christ
3. We are messy
3.a.New believers don’t act like believers & Non Believers don’t act like believers
3.b.Try new methods to reach and disciple others
But in order for a church to truly be Outreach driven, they need to;

Well-Placed Confidence
Be aware of where you are placing your confidence. Is it in yourself and your abilities?
Or is it in God and in His Word?
It's a good remedy for worry. Focus on the promise and not on the problem...

Revelation 3: 1b-3 says "I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."

So You Think You Have It Rough: Persecution
We figured out a new system that will hold the mp3s and archive them.
Here's my sermon that speaks about Persecution and Overcoming it.
Hebrews 12:1-3 says "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame,and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3) Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow wary and lose heart.
